Glad you lot out there can get your updates done, tried four different dealers with no joy to get flywheel/ mount updates done, even left it with one for two weeks still no luck, when I took it back and tried to book it in with a date he tells me ' Bring it back when you finished with it!'
So last week I phone BRP UK on Tuesday, by Friday after not hearing back I phone again, this time he assures me he'll phone me back that day, I'm still waiting now, great customer service that It gonna need the 10hr doing after this weekend too, might need an email to Canada to kick someone into gear!
The update code he gave me at BRP UK was 08/09 updates.

Is there any way to know besides calling the dealer to find out of the small oil hole was drilled?

you can open it up and look.

What's the deadline for the recalls on the 08 Ds 450, looking to pick one up and the recalls weren't done.

ask the dealer. its hit or miss with them since they front the service work then get reimbursed by BRP. mine did all recalls for free while some people had dealers charge them for parts or service or both

Recalls should be free, its the service bulletins that cost you $$$ to do.
