It will not cause any engine codes but it still allows you to plug in to it to check for codes.

We offer either a brand new harness for $578.00 includes, start button and killswitch. Or you can send your harness in to be done for $199.99
Thanks!!

i just got mine back, way nicer, easy color coded plug ins for kill switch and starter switch, no more fuses, easier to work with, and fan runs all time key is on, very professsional looking job. thanks bcs would recommend this 2 anybody who works on own quad and is not electrician!

Hi... new to the forum. I don't even own a DS yet, but plan to purchase soon. I've been trying to research this purchase first, so I know what I"m getting into.
Can someone either explain to me what the issue is with the stock harness, or point me to a thread that discusses this? Thanks.

The stock harness is fine, until for some unknown reason it will begin to blow fuses. The BCS harness also removes all the BS that you don't need for racing, like headlights, neutral lights, etc. Makes it a little lighter, and a lot less cluttered.

Thanks. Are there a lot of fuses/relays on these machines? Looking at the pics, they've definitely simplified things. BCS makes some trick stuff.
