hey guys, picking up a new{still in crate} leftover 08 base model this friday. hope i can work something out with the dealer on the whole clutch situation. is this much of a problem on a stock bike with pink wire mod? also saw a 08 450x and really liked the fact nerfs.anyone have some fact nerfs for sale? i had a new 2004 ds650x with a rwr stage2 that was just super reliable. hoping this one works out for me!

hey man congrats on getting a ds. Yea you should really get the clutch replaced its a problem no matter if its stock or has a race motor. And the Factory nerf SUCK!!! really bad. but if u really want some Ill ship u my old ones for the price of shipping. 2 of the straps r broke. I still suggest getting real nerfs like ones with heel guards cause the plastic onces will break fast to.

shouldnt take much work to get them to do the clutch update the dealer had already done it to mine when i went to look at it.

Not sure why he didn't like the factory nerfs they seem to work good for me so far!

I race MX. the straps started breaking after a few races same with the heel guards. they prob hold up decently if u dont beat on them really hard
