Just bought 08 X

Picked up a leftover 08 X the other day have ridden it twice so far initial impressions:

Suspension feels very good and overall riding riding position is comfortable i favor both over the yfz450 i had before this.. Only bad thing is the seat is very hard which is pretty normal though.

faster than what i gussed from reading the tests i stayed right at the back tires of a 525 ktm on the gravel.

Low end is lacking but pulls very hard on top. I plan on taking the baffle out and cutting my pink wire and putting it on a switch since i ride in the mud and will want my air box lid on at times.

Worst plastic design i've ever seen took it all apart just to familiarize myself and was dissapointed with how long it takes to take apart and put back together.

Ur gunna run into probably putting the pink wire on a switch. The best bet will be too get a power commander and tune it with the lid on and an aftermarket exhaust

What exactly would the problem be with switching the pink wire? And you probably mean ron woods? Which is what i would probably go with i've already had one of his pipes and loved the sound and had great fit and finish.
