newb from canada with a 09 ds mx

Hello my name is Kent, two days ago i purchased a new 09 ds450 mx. i rode it today for the first time and it was a blast. Il do my best to use the search button which i have used a few times so far. No major plans for the toy, it seems a majority go with the pink wire mod, exhaust, air filter and be done with it. I did notice there are recalls on the clutch system? i was unaware of this and id imagine it hasnt been fixed on my quad since it just came out of the crate and was built 3 days ago. I have no plans of racing, im just out to have fun. any info important info i should be aware about please let me know. Tomorow im changing the oil on it since my 5 hour ride time is up. how much oil do they generally take? the dealer only gave me 1 jug of the brp oil and im thinking its not enough. i wont attempt the oil change without knowing for certain so if someone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

kent

i think its a lil over 2 quarts...and you prob dont have to worry about the clutch. most of the recalls were for 08 and early 09

so after 25 hrs of hard riding the ds is holding up. things i dont like about the bike are ground clearence lacks low end grunt and its to quiet (i should have bought the xc model). things ive ordered to help with all my issues are

22x11x9 mudlites on trac lock itp wheels rear
22x8x9 mudlites on trac lock itp wheels front might be a little wide ...
rossier eng exhaust megacone end cap
rossier eng free air kit

over the ride time i noticed i find myself loving technical trails with rocky hills, muskeg and mud. i hope the tires i chose will help me with ground clearance and traction through tuff areas.

ive read up about the bcs sprocket and sprocket guard kit but cant seem to find on the site what exact parts they are. i read that this also helps with ground clearence which is my main concern. could someone help me out? im looking for the best sprocket to use for trail riding ( top speed is not my concern at all i want short gears) that will be ideal for low end power for when needed. also if there is anything else that will help with ground clearence that someone could recommend that would be greatly appreciated.
