New & Lookin to change

Hey everyone im RJ, im 18 and live in NY and race motocross. I currently have a 04 honda with everything u can think done to it. Ive been recently having a lot of problems with the honda so i was thinking of fixing it up and then selling it at the end of the season to then buy a new '10 x model. I was just wondering what your input would be. Is the can am really worth it? I hear they have a "limp" mode that doesnt allow you to hit the rev limiter and really cuts your quads power.

Any input is greatly appreciated

Oh yea. The DS is so light and definitely doesn't lack power especially with the 3 freebie mods (pink wire, baffle, air box lid). You'll love it.

just don't get an 08 model that's the only negative advise i can give you for the ds!!!

I beat the crap out of mine on the trails/track never hit limp mode, I wonder if they took it out of some of the later 09 models?

there is a limp mode on the 2010 but its just harder to get too, they raised the level and it will go into limp mode only if the bike is extremely hot, but if you get the bike under the racer package they will give you a new ecu that does not have a limp mode
