New to site

I am a seasoned quad rider who just acquired a DS450. I live in Arizona and have been riding in the sand dunes, deserts and mountains for over 25 years. I am not slowing down any. In fact, i am speeding up, hence, my desire to possess the DS450 (not to mention the smokin' deal I got).
I am pleased that this site exists. It is very helpful when seeking out useful information and I appreciate the input of those willing to share their knowledge.

I bought my first quad in 1985, it was an LT250 Suzuki Quad Racer. I kept it for about 10 years and had a blast riding it. I have also owned a 230 Suzuki Quad Sport, an ATC200X, a 1987 TRX250X, a 1986 TRX250R, a 1985 ATC250R and I currently own two Honda TRX400s, a 2000 and a 2002, and, of course, my new DS450.

Welcome to the board,
Do yourself a favor and do some searches before you ask questions. This will assure that you do not get heckled or catch any of the attitude that can fly around here.
We are all here to help so if you cant find what you are looking for, just ask and if any of us have the answer then you will too.

Enjoy

I had a '87 TRX250X and still have a '86 TRX250R. Those things will run forever and threw darn near anything, just keep gas and oil in em and they will treat you good!

Nice, I rode a 86 LT250r and swore I would not get a crappy four stroke ever. Then I rode a couple modern 450s and said sorry to my baby and moved her to the back of the line (right after I put 1000 bucks into a port and polish). Got a good deal on the DS and its so hard to move back to the 25yr old quad. Welcome to the forum. Hey you should join us in glamis on April 16 and through the week!
