1/4 mile drag with DS450??...

I was at a drag strip on the weekend for a 'street legal' racing event and some dude decided to race his banshee down the 1/4 mile. Obviously I was super pumped and want to try racing my 2008 DS 450X. Ive already gone down a tooth on the front, but am well aware i will need to change my sprocket or sprockets if i decide to race this thing. Has anybody done this and have any recommendations on tooth counts for front and rear to attain a decent top speed and time??... Thanks!

with stock gearing i think mine would do 75ish at the rev limiter, so going down tooth would make it slower on the top end, and you would be at the rev limiter from the
1/8th all the way to 1420. you need a ton of power and tall tall gearing to run good 1/4 times

I was thinking u said rear sprocket lol. Go back to 14/42 for good all around times. 14/39 with some motor work will help get a higher top speed tho
