Hey guys, I've just bought one of the only two DS450x in my country! It's a 2008 model and has about 25 hours on it (10 of those done in the US). I still haven't used it since I'm changing oils and stuff. Well, let me know what to look out for. I do mostly open trail riding and some mx races. By the way, is there any way to check out if the recalls that came out for the 08 are already done to my quad (thru VIN nº?) There are no CANAM-BRP dealers here so I'm pretty much on my own. Let me no.

FYI, my previous Quad ws a TRX 330R completely built.

PS. My dad just bought a Commander in Miami, it's suppose to arrive in a couple months.

There is a recall on the clutch.

Congrats and welcome to the site. I think you may be able to check on the BRP site I can not remember for sure. The most accurate way would be contact a dealer with the vin.

Thanks guys. Pedro, I know of a dealer in Florianopolis where a friend took his Spyder. I'll see if I can contact him. my local mechanic has the scanner and everything needed to work on canams, I just need to find the recall info on my VIN. I'm really anxious because I'm hours away of picking up the quad......
