Question hey

hey
Im new to forum. I been reading alot of information that is very helpful on my ds 450. I have put on a fmf full system with a fmf fuel controller. And it runs rough and would like to know if anyone knows what i can do to make it run better.

Aparently you shouldn't have used a FMF pipe, from what i've seen here on the forum, it takes out HP from the engine, looks like FMF doesn't put much time/thought in their quad exhaust systems...

Get a Motoworks or a Yoshimura, those work awesome on our DS's especially the Motoworks G2! and now its very cheap!

I would guess the exhaust is not hooked up correctly. You might have some exhaust leaks at the head pipe. Otherwise your fmi is not adjusted correctly or not hooked up correctly. Either of those should not make it run rough. Maybe valves need to be adjusted.

What year DS? Like stated before. Check exhaust connections, remove fmi and see if it runs better.

Thanks all for the replies.

bad moose its a 2008 x model

the bike has been to a can-am dealer who checked it and said there were no leaks & valves ok, but it now runs worse than before they had it
