Exclamation New

Hello, I am new on here as the title sais!

SO, here's the deal i do not own a ds450 BUT am definitely looking at one. Ive owned a kawasaki kfx400 with a slip on and a bore out kit for a while, cracked the crank case and took it apart to replace, bought a new crank case and... then college started back, and i litterally havent had the time at ALL to work on it anymore, that kfx is a 2006 and i payed 2700 for it, put 300 in it for nerfs and bumpers and then 460 for the crankcase. and about 200 more dollars for bearings and seals and such. SO about 3700 into it.
NOW, the dealership down the road has a brand new 450ds. and here's their story: the machine was marked at 7500, supposedly can-am offered them a 2000 rebate, which they later changed their minds and said that can-am offered a 1500 rebate and the dealership matched 500. soooo 5500 is what they are now asking, and they said they will give me about 2000 for my 4 wheeler in pieces, soooo.... what do ya'll think? should i do it or just suck it up and fix my kfx?? I just really wanna ride nowwww!!!

first off what year is the ds and what model? is it used or new? if it is used in my opinion for base model $5500 is a little steep! Im selling mine right now for $4000 and ive got many upgrades! im selling mine to get the 450 x.

bad deal. thats way high for a 2008. especially the 08. but 2grand for a trade in quad isnt too bad...so thats just 3500 outa your pocket...but still...id offer em 2500 and your quad, and tell em to throw in the warrenty too. if they wanna move a lfetover model, theyd take that deal.

I agree the price is too steep, I baught my 09 ds450xxc for only $6000 brand new. Ebay is a good place to go, also try going in there and telling them a set price and tell them thats all you have to work with, if they dont give it to you than walk away. They might even call ya back later if they want to sell it.

Damn good advice, i saw one on ebay for 3500 with warranty. might have to take them up on that offer, or go into the dealership and show them that page.
