a couple of questions about my ds 450.
So I bought a left over 2008 ds 450 at the end of October of 2009. It was a killer deal at 3994 otd and I absolutely love this quad. After reading some post on this forum my only real concern is the clutch update which i want to do. So my first question is do you have to buy the update from the dealer? I'd rather not since my nearest dealer is an hour and a half a way so is there anyway to buy it straight from Can Am or Babbitsonline? I haven't had any problems with the clutch yet but I'd rather be safe than sorry. My second question is about the race ECU. I've seen where I can supposedly switch mine out with one from Can Am pretty much for free minus shipping. My question is whether its worth it and again I heard that you have to have a dealer flash your ECU. If its just plug in and go I'd like to do it but if I have to go through the hassle of going to a dealer I'd rather not. Any help would be much appreciated. Oh yeah I forgot to tell you that its piped and have the pink wire cut.
