I know the Ely park (Cedar Rapids) and Riverside (Waterloo) were both pretty cool. I have a few riding buddies from C.R. and ironically they are DS riders too. I live just south of DesMoines and Ive raced the IA Harescramble Series for 6 years through 5 different machines and it is awesome. Hope you give it a try, lots of classes for newbies thru top pros. People travel from 7 states to these things. Camp and grill on Sat. Race and watch others sunday. Very family oriented. 7 races per year and the season opener is close to you.
