the white thing or theorange little nose plug looking thing goes in the clip to make it secure, just letting you know if you dindnt know what it was for and for futre refrenceees lol

They make helmet mounts. The ones on the helmet seem to stay on and skip the positioning links of the bar mounts.

how was this one even mounted? suction cup? the bar mounts are stout, and clamp down, the helmet ones use industrial adhesive...the only part that failed for me was the small connecting elbow...

I had one of the flat sticky mounts on the hood and I guess it was too cold and it came off as I went through the creek. Broke the mount but the camera and case are compeletly fine. Im gonna get a handle bar mount next. I thought it was a rock at first then realized the camera was gone

yea you actually are supposed to make the plastics warm and also warm up the sticky back too... and when i talked to gorpo they said the plastics become brittle in the cold and snap, which is retarded saying that they market to a ton of snowboarders, skiers and snowmobilers
