450cc ATV Motocross Shootout

I recently finished producing a 450cc MX shootout test featuring the DS450X MX. In part 1 on the test we compared specs, weight, horsepower, stock and as tested pricing, and contingency programs.

Part two will be done soon and will cover on track comparasons but without giving anything away it was surprising to see how well the DS performed. I dont think this machine has been given the credit it deserves.

Ill have part two done in the next 7 to 10 days but part 1 is a good start. Please check it out, post back here and tell me what you think. With the money Can-Am is paying out it is amazing you dont se a ton of these at the nationals and at some of hte big series.

Nice to see shootouts in action again. I can't wait to see the track vids. Nice work on the info. Keep us posted. I like to see the XC quads (hint, hint) in a shootout.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys and for allowing us to share.

We are working on part two and will definately keep you guys posted. We are also already working on the post shootout build up of our DS450X MX We want to find out how well the machine holds up onder normal, "non pro level" racing. So far we are extremely impressed and feel this machine hast't been given all of the credit it deserves. We will see how it pans out.

As a test rider in this shootout I have to say you won't be disappointed with part 2

But GREAT Shootout and I can't wait until part II either. Will be nice to see how they hold up, as well as a suspension starting point for the track!!!
