Spring will not fit over threads

I just recieved my 50" suspension kit from can-am and on the front shocks the new springs do not fit over the threads on the body. Can I bore out the inside of the spring? I dont think it will hurt anything but just checking with the pros!

I used a die grinder to take off the yellow coating on the inside of the spring on the top coil and it fit. That spring needs to move freely so it stays seated on the bottom of the shock.

wait im lost...so your running the stock shocks on mx arms? and the change in shock angle has affected how they seat on the threads? or they dont fit on the shock body that is included with the kit? if its the later then that kinda sounds like a manufacturers problem. they should fit no problem on the shock body...

my first set slipped right over, my second was a pain to get on. I just took the paint off the inside of the spring.
