Getting ready to test an economical new front frame brace kit.

Just got off of the Phone with one of our team's sponsors (a well-known and respected atv aftermarket manufacturer) and a new production-ready prototype Front frame brace kit is on it's way to me via UPS. It is constructed of laser-cut, powder coated steel and will retail for about half of competitor's products. I'll post pics of the install and reveal the supplier once we get the pieces fit up on my DS450.

Once we reveal the manufacturer, the price point with shock a lot of people. They have a reputation for building some of the nicest Accessories in the sport. They just asked me to to make sure it's gonna function as intended before going to market with it.

$40 bucks sounds like a great deal. How do you plan to test it?

First test will be for fit and ease of install. This is the first of the production units. The problem with producing aftermarket parts is they are typically jigged up on new quads and sold/installed onto used quads. These frames have flexed and twisted under use and riding so, you have to make sure you allow for variances without having slop in the ass'y. That's the first thing I'm testing. Next comes the "go out and ride the piss out of it" test. More fun and takes longer.

Here's a pic of the actual components: I'll be installing mine with Stainless Steel locking hardware.

Nice pics! Tell us how they work out though. Plus if they do well you should link us, maybe someone wants to buy some.
