xc setup help needed on xmx.

im racing next weekend at a xc 2 hour hare scrambler race. I need a little help with the setup. i have xmx arms and shocks . my caster and camber spacers are even. 4 on each side. im running 20 inch rear holeshot hd and 21 hd front. ive only did 2 hair scrambles before so im new to this form of racing. any caster, camber and toe in setting, gearing, ride height preload h/l speed compression etc. will be greatly appreciated. with gear im about 190lb. im installing full skids, full hinson clutch tomorrow so id like to set it up at the same time if possible. thanks in advance!

Anyone? I was running 18 inch fres now I have 20s if I was geared 13-38 and went to a 20 tire how many teeth should i go up in rear y compensate. I set ride height to 7 7/8 up front and 7 5/8 rear and rear still feels taller. The rear isn't a xmx shock its a regular one are the xmx shorter? Only other thing I can see is the metal seat post mount (bcs) I think, makes the seat sit higher than it should there's a gap in the front is that normal? I really won't be able to ride this thing before we go so.any help is desperately needed. I have xmx arms with washer style adjustments any settings u guys use caster and Camber u recomend.

Gearing is fine. Lower the ride hieght about a inch front and rear.Check the mount sounds like you have the plastics below the mount.

Lower ride height? It feels a bit soft now, won't that worsen. How about high speed compression how do i adjust and what's a good point. And if i want to speed up rebound is it clockwise or counter. I'm trying to learn this my self I've had mechanics for years doing all my set ups to each track and condition. Sometimes its hard to explain what I need or want so before my real national season starts I'm trying to learn as much as possible and get some seat time on this thing. Down side I live in ny so its freezing and some snow so I know it won't be 100% accurate for race season. ( edt) I have 3 months to do years of work to see if the can-am can be competive in extreme dirt track. I feel it can that's why I'm starting all over and giving up my honda. It's at its max.

Clockwise is what I would call a stiffer setting. I would just set them in the middle and go from there. You just need to do one click at a time. You will notice a difference and what you don't like right away. At least I did. Unfortunately it takes seat time to figure it out and I'm still trying to figure out what I like for what. I ride dunes and trails. Looking at some mx but no competitive. Once you figue everything out remember to document everything. That will help in the future.

Some of my race bikes were backwards rebound was sped up by backing off the screw. I get one practice, and have to make changes on the fly. Want to make sure i send rebound in the right direction. I get one shot to make the right changes before its go time. And I'm going with no crew, just buddies. Any one mess with high speed compression, any input will be great. Kinda don't want to embarrass myself, I'd like to continue where I left off 4 years ago. Winning championships LOL.thanks again you guys are great on here. I'll b certain to give the site the reconition it deserves, and get some can ams in extreme dirt track.
