Rocket Ron XXC Revalve/Resprung...
Got them back yesterday, installed today. Unfortunately I won't get a chance to ride them until probably April.
***I need to spin the lower eye on the front so the adjuster is facing rearward.

Quick turn around time, about a week. Very happy and he was super easy to deal with.

Is it me, or is the top spring a heavier gauge than the middle spring? Im not familiar with XC setups, but in mx, the top is usually a lighter spring.

Looks good, looks like he used Hygear spring kits. Can't wait to hear how they perform. So far I am very pleased with my stock XXC shocks but if some extra money found it's way to my pocket I would consider some shocks one day.
Just noticed that in the third pick that when the shocks are bearing only the vehicle weight, it looks like you only have a 1/4" or so on the mid spring before you are riding on the main spring and the sag spring is completely cancelled out all ready. Seems curious to have a triple rate front and only have all little travel available before you are all ready riding on the main. Maybe it's just the angle of the photo.

He uses ONLY Custom Axis (Penske Racing) internals. I wanted specifics when I got mine built by him. Great work by the way.
If my memory serves me right he uses their springs too. Best way to find out is to call him. 317-319-4381

Yeah I noticed the words "Twisted" on the springs and that led me to the Hygear site. I had to do something, as this thing bottoms out way too much with stock XXC setup. Keep in mind, I am 6'8" and fluctuate between 280-300# hahaha
The third pic, none of the three springs are compressed much at all in that pic. While I will agree that there is maybe 3/4" to 1" left of travel on those two top springs, they are 400# springs, meaning 400# to compress it 1". I don't know all the intricacies of stacking 3 springs though, I do know that if you stack a 400 on a 400, it effectively becomes a 200# spring. I'm not sure how the third spring affects all of this though.
For those asking spring rates, if memory serves, they are
400 Top
400 Middle
200 Bottom

You are right it looks like there is plenty of spring travel left over however the crossovers between the top and middle spring look to be binding all ready and there looks to be only a 1/4" or so before the middle spring was canceled also. I don't fully understand how all three springs are supposed to interact either, just an observation/question.
