I have had the Flex bars for 3 years and love them. Had a couple of crashes and they held up better than I thought they would. The flex in the bars kept them from bending or braking. We took them apart and rebuilt. Good as new. Would recommend rebuilding once a year. If the pins seize up, they are a pain to get out. Flex has a rebuild kit and instructions on rebuilding. There is also a video on their website that shows you how to rebuild.

I've had my flex bars a couple of years now with 0 problems and love them. I've found that if they start to get a little stiff from sitting up, I can let some wd40 soak into the pivot areas and the next day all's good.

Precision bar clamps are the way to go! cheaper, lighter, and in my opinion, better!
