rims/ offsets

riders,
i'm new to the ds and am in a rush to get my bike ready for the upcoming race season. i have a stock ds that i'm getting hooked up by houser on front a arms and a few other goodies. but i'm not sure on the rims, on my yfz i had to buy 4+1 offset rims (3+2 offset stock) once i put my gibson front end on. or once i get my front end i can run the stock front rims and be at 50". what did you guys run into? thanks.
