gliders vs haulers

what is better where? i have haulers 20" 8 paddle on douglas rims works good, great hole shot-with right tire presure does fairly good on upper speed climbing dunes. my bud just got some gliders and his machine now rips up them hills faster than my quad does'nt seem right-he has 21"tire 9 paddle. I always beat him up the hills before. are the gliders that big of an improvement over haulers? any info will be appreciated thanks!

gliders use shorter and fewer paddles, actually are meant for small quads like 80s-125s..maybe their lighter...or maybe he just became a better rider lol...id dump the haulers and get the extremes in 21 or 22. also if hes using 21 hes getting a little more top end and can prob ride the gears out a little longer. maybe go with 10 paddle extremes. wont be able to beat those.

i think the 10 paddle extremes would be wayyyy to much unless u got a 65hp quad, the gliders are probably faster on the hill because they are short paddles, and they are not bogging his motor down so much

i think bushwacker runs 10 paddle haulers or extremes....the only problem with the extremes is that they are thicker/tougher and therefore heavier, but they are still gobs lighter than the other paddle tires out there.

I drag race & race hill shoots. Haulers are a good hillshoot tire but if your runs are more than 300ft., gliders would be faster. Extremes are good for 300ft track racing. Need to know length of your runs to advise on paddle count. U also want 22" tires.

I only run the 10 paddles extremes for 300 ft flat drags, they are too much paddle for hill shooting. I would recommend a 22' or 21' 7 paddles hauler for the hill.

I ride choke cherry hill at st anthony id. very steep and long-guessing about 500 hundred feet up soft sand like silca sand. For 48 hp ds what combo would work best of the gliders and what tire pressure? thanks everyone for the input!
