Ds450 Fan problem

Hey everyone, I'm new here.. I was wondering if other people have had this problem with their ds, I bought it a week ago and on the 1st ride, It overheated, Turns out the fan doesn't turn on, What's my next step? Thanks..

Test the fan and test the relay.
Unplug fan, run a couple of wires from a batt direct, if the fan is still good it will spin if its dead it won't.
If the fan was good you need to test the relay for the fan. Under nose cone infant of the steering stem on older DS and on right hand side just under gas tank of later models.
Good luck.

There are 3 relays in front of the handlebars behind the front top plastic. You may read don't swap them but it's safe if you do it for testing not riding.

I suggest buying a 6 pack or more because once you see how many problems one relay can cause you will want to keep a full set on hand.

Buy something off Amazon like the attached picture for a multi buy cheaper than one. If you want to buy one or OEM go to cheapcycleparts.com

Good luck!!

Thanks for the help guys, I got that fixed and decided to go riding for a bit, I went aprox 5 miles on straight road, When I stopped to rest a bit it was all good..But when I tried starting it, It just wouldn't start, After a bit I push started it, worked well and then I started to head home..When I came home I started to notice it making a clanking noise down by the foot peg on the right side, So I parked it and tried to start it again, Wouldn't pull start either and theres the weird clanking noise, Really appreciate some help here.
