I have a 2014 xmx with a rossier full system pipe. No programming and stock air box and filter. Obviously it’s running a little lean, what are my options for this. I really like the idea of the race ecu but I don’t have the supporting mods for it. EI; exhaust cam, green injector, bored TB. My question is what will happen if I add a bigger injector to the mix ? I want to ditch my air box lid but I’m scared I’m gunna lean it out badly without some way of adding fuel. I didn’t really want to buy a FMI because I’ve noticed lots of guys say there are junk. Please let me know! Thanks !

Sincerely I think you don't need a race ECU. Where are you from? From Alberta I just read it. Are you racing national series or locally?

FMI are not junk, are just personal preferences. For national racers maybe is a must a race ECU (removing limp mode among other things) much better than FMI yes, but is just becasue the engine preparations are normally higher., but all depends on your level.
