First Ds450 New to the site

New to the site and joined so I could contribute because this site has helped me a ton (from Limp mode to the best parts). I have had my DS for just about a year and I love it. So we'll see where I can help. Thanks for the opportunity.

I did have one question and i know its been touched on many times. However, i cannot seem to find a clear cut answer because their are so many opinions. I recently installed a full system HMF Competition series exhaust on an 08' Ds450 and wanted to know if I should cut the pink wire and if thats all I need to do.

If it is an 08, then cut the pink wire, and I would take the lid off the air box also.

Yes its an 08. Thanks for the input. thats what i had planned on doing, but I'd probably have to get a protec airbox cover. Is it really important that I run without a lid?
